DIRECT SOURCING SOLUTIONS, INC. AND KOHLBERG KRAVIS ROBERTS & Co. ANNOUNCE PURCHASING SERVICES MERGER

DETROIT & NEW YORK, June 10, 2002 -- Direct Sourcing Solutions, Inc. (DSSI) and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), majority owner in the WorldCrest Group, jointly announced today that WorldCrest and DSSI are merging operations.

The combined company is positioned to be the leader in the emerging procurement service providers market with a complete requisition-to-payment purchasing system and process, aggregated spend of nearly $2 billion in over 30 categories, and a world-class supply chain with particular expertise in MRO and chemicals.
